Here is a short write up on a recent activity a couple of Brother Sir Knights completed to honor the great country we live in and show respect for its greatest symbol. A lot of people do not show enough respect to the flag of our country. Not knowing how to respect the flag is not an excuse to not respect it.

True thanks go to Tom Shine for being the “implementer” of the idea we both came up with. The flag now on 202N and the PA Turnpike (at US Petro Gas Station) will be seen by thousands of people each day. We can all be proud as Knights.
On behalf of the 4th Degree Knights, we hope that you consider joining us in getting your 4th Degree (Patriotic Degree) this coming May (Sunday of Memorial Day weekend). “For most men who follow Jesus, there comes a time when duty extends beyond our own lives, beyond how we lead our families, and into how we serve our fellow man. That’s what the Knights of Columbus is all about. The Patriotic Degree allows K of C members to take this one step further. “Sir Knight” is more than a title — it’s an honor.”
