Posting this from another council…If you have never visited the Basilica it is well worth a trip down to DC to see it.
Tour of the Basilica of the National Shrine & Saint John Paul II National Shrine
All are welcome to join with the Knights of Columbus Pope John Paul I Council on a one day visit to Washington, DC on Saturday March 21, 2015. All family members are welcome. Event will include a tour of both facilities and a private Mass celebrated by Father Edward Kelly. Bus transportation will be provided at a cost of $32.00 per seat (transportation only). Bus is scheduled to leave Visitation BVM (196 N. Trooper Road, Trooper, PA) at 7:00 A.M. Lunch will be in the cafeteria at the Basilica and a dinner stop will be made at the Maryland House on the return trip.
