Passing of the Torch

This may be a little late, but I wanted to make one last post as Grand Knight. I have been GK for the last 2 years of the MDP Knights. I want to thank everyone for their time and effort. In this day and age time if a precious commodity. There are many worthwhile things that we can do with our time. Most importantly is time with our family. I think that the family is the most important thing in our lives. It is sad that not everyone has a family that loves them and spends time with them. Even though I praise single parents for their hard work, I pray that everyone have a mother and father. After all that is the plan right and in the natural way it still take a man and a woman to conceive a child. But we must also make time to protect that family. The Knights are not a men’s organization. It is a family organization. We need to strive to protect our family and everything that encompasses everyday. We, myself included, need to do a better job to include our families in everything we do. Our Church and our Families need us. I can’t say directly, but all you Brother Knights know about the vows you took at your 1st degree and subsequent degrees if you have completed them. We need our Brothers to participate. We are all leaders. We all have ideas. We all have energy to contribute. I cannot say if my terms were successful or not. Only you and time will tell that. I just hope that I was able to impact even just a bit everyone that I met and interacted with. Please come out to the meetings and give us some of that precious time. With our hard work, we will be rewarded many times over.

Thanks,
Past Grand Knight
